Introduction to mrFindBorders 46 three points within the measured phase-wedge image³. One point is to mark in the center of the fovea, the other two points either in the boundaries between V1 and V2 (in each boundary one point) or in the outer boundaries of V3 (Figure 21). The sequence of steps is as follows: 1. Mark one point in the center of the fovea. 2. If you are satisfied, press “Store this point and finish” (you were asked for one point only). 3. If you would like to try again, press “Discard this point and specify another point”. 4. Select the boundaries where you would like to specify points. 5. For the case you selected “Outer Boundaries of V3d and V3v”, mark one point within the outer boundary V3d. Drawing a line across the boundary is the first step to do this. Specify the starting point by clicking left. Then draw the line and do a right click to specify the end point. 6. The profile (phase values along the specified line) is displayed. See Figure 20 top. 7. Click at the extremum (where the phase reversal is supposed to be). 8. The point is overlaid on top of the measured phase image. 9. You can try again if you are not satisfied with the result. See Figure 20 bottom. 10. Specify a confidence value between zero and one.
