3.7.5 Aligning
The program mrAlign is a plug-in of mrLoadRet (see next section) and it is used to automati-
cally or manually align the low-resolution inplane anatomy data to the high-resolution volume
anatomy data (vAnatomy; the reference volume). This produces an affine 4x4 alignment ma
trix, which specifies the transformation between inplane coordinates and high-resolution vol-
ume coordinates. Please refer to [Nestares and Heeger, 2000 #40] for further information.
