7.3.2 Data Set 2 (Huk)
To show that mrFindBorders is flexible and that it not only works with one data set, another
example is given next11. Compared with the previously used data set, this data set is noisier
and more difficult to deal with. In mrFindBorders, most of the options were selected to be the
same as previously. Only the fovea offset for initial atlas creation was changed from 30 pixels
to 5 pixels, the coherence threshold was increased from 0 to 0.5 to reduce noise, and the three
points for the creation of the initially aligned atlas were, of course, placed at different loca-
tions. The last section showed many of the results that mrFindBorders is able to produce. In
this section, only the main results are presented (Figure 57).
